Sabine Kossak’s practice involves patent prosecution and litigation in the fields of chemistry and material sciences. She has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property rights and an extensive knowledge of chemistry, demonstrating particular strength in technical chemistry and chemical process engineering. She earned her doctorate in polymer chemistry through a cooperative project with BASF Coatings, focusing on continuous polymerization processes.

A further focus of her practice is design prosecution before both EUIPO and WIPO, and design litigation. Sabine Kossak is Vice-Chair of the GRUR Expert Committee for Design Law, member of the board of the German national group of AIPPI, the IPO Committee on Design Law, and the Knowledge Exchange Advisory Board of the University of Hamburg. In addition, she is a speaker at various conferences and gives lectures on patent law.
