Joanna acts for landlords and tenants of retail properties in the North West and nationally, and also deals with the property aspects of corporate transactions as well as general commercial property work.    Joanna has recently acted for a national fashion retailer on the sale of two high value former factory/warehouse premises, and acts, alongside our corporate team, for the purchaser of care homes.

• Acted for the Seller of a former country house hotel and farmhouse for £2.8 m
• Acted for a national fashion retailer on the sale of two former factory/warehouse premises for £3m each;
• Acting for the same fashion retailer on the sale of former office premises for £2.5m;
• Acted, together with our Corporate team, for the buyer of a vehicle repair business in the South East for £2m.
• Worked, alongside a Partner, on the purchase of a retail park in Staffordshire for £10.25m;
• Acted, alongside our Corporate team, for the buyer of a nursing home, for £2.525m, involving consideration of contaminated land issues;
• Worked, together with our Corporate team, for the buyer of an industrial site for £5m;
• Acted for Administrators on the sale of leasehold property whereby a condition of the sale was purchase by the Administrators of escheat land.
• Acted for a national bicycle retailer in connection with its leases of retail premises in central London and the South East;
• Acted for a retail client taking a new 10 year underlease of former post office premises in Nottingham city centre;
• Assisted a tenant on two new 10 year leases of city centre retail premises in Derby on a turnover rent, plus related warehouse premises;
• Assisted a tenant of a new 10 year lease of retail premises in Salford Quays in Manchester;
• Acted for a tenant taking a new 10 year lease of high street retail premises from Pension Trustees;
