David is the head of the corporate team, and has seen the team continue its upward trajectory both in terms of the quality and quantity of the deals the team have acted on, as well as assuming the responsibility for the strategic direction and leadership of the corporate team, leading to the team to consistently turnover more than £1m.

In addition to leading the team, David has a wealth of experience across all key areas of corporate services, but focusses on high value deals, including complex demergers and Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) buyouts, and has several acquisitive “buy and build” clients, details of which are highlighted in our submission. David has a particular expertise in acting for clients in the professional services industries.

David oversees the continuation and development of referrer relationships specifically within the Preston and Fylde Coast region and is active on the business development and networking scene in the area.

David is an exceptional lawyer who is noted in the region for his technical ability. He has strong working relationships both internally and externally and has established himself at Forbes over the last 5.5 years as a key member of the commercial side of the partnership, with many long-standing and repeat clients seeking him out and returning to him for advice.

David is instrumental in the development and training of more junior members of the team and clearly enjoys seeing them develop and sharing knowledge.
