Simone Häderle Ingeberg is partner at SANDS’ office in Oslo and is heading SANDS German Desk and our Shipping & Offshore department. She is a German and Norwegian qualified lawyer specialised within shipping and marine insurance.

Simone has about 20 years of experience from a Club in the International Group of P&I Clubs and from private legal practice in Germany and Norway. During her time in Skuld, Simone has gained considerable international, commercial experience and practical expertise in complex shipping and marine insurance projects. She has assisted members and clients with contentious legal matters, (alternative) dispute resolution, negotiations and arbitrations, as well as contract reviews, general advisory services, and insurance cover advice. For many years, she headed one of the Club’s business units with product and geographical responsibility in the Americas and large parts of Europe and with an emphasis on the charterers and traders’ business. During her time in private legal practice, Simones main practice areas have been maritime law, (re) insurance law, litigation and legal enforcement in Norway and Germany, as well as project development and establishment of German companies in Norway.
