Based in BSA LAW’s DIFC office, Bassel is a Partner in the onshore litigation practice, specializing in complex civil and commercial disputes. He handles intricate shareholder disputes, including minority and majority rights issues, abuse of rights, and fictitious dividend distributions. Bassel also has extensive experience advising developers, sellers, and buyers on complex real estate transactions across Lebanon and the UAE.

He manages complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, insurance disputes, banking, employment, and enforcement proceedings, combining strategic insight with practical solutions to safeguard clients’ interests and achieve optimal outcomes. With deep knowledge of Civil Law principles across the Middle East and Gulf regions, Bassel actively directs litigation strategies, provides pre-litigation guidance, and skillfully negotiates before, during, and after proceedings to ensure high-quality legal representation.
