BSA LAW
Diversity
BSA LAW is committed to building a diverse, inclusive and supportive workplace where people from all backgrounds feel respected and empowered. The firm brings together professionals from across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa, who collectively speak more than 35 languages and offer deep regional insight across a wide range of legal systems. This diversity creates a collaborative environment that reflects the communities BSA LAW serves.
The firm promotes equal opportunity at every level and ensures fair treatment for all, regardless of gender, age, race, religion or disability. Inclusive hiring practices and ongoing internal awareness initiatives help foster a culture of respect and representation.
BSA LAW also maintains a strong gender balance, with nearly 40 percent of its workforce made up of women. Supporting women is a core part of the firm’s values. BSA LAW has been shortlisted in ten categories at the Lexis Nexis Women in Law Awards, recognising its ongoing efforts to advance gender equality. The firm also marks International Women’s Day through firmwide events and meaningful gestures of appreciation. BSA LAW remains dedicated to supporting both women and men in balancing work and family responsibilities through the continued enhancement of its family leave policies.
Professional development is a key priority at BSA LAW. Initiatives such as the Star Lawyer Development Path, Knowledge Sharing sessions and the Pathway to Success program are designed to support continuous growth and learning. The firm also values employee feedback, which is gathered through regular surveys, including the BSA Future Campaign, to help shape and improve its people strategy.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
BSA LAW takes a practical and people-first approach to social, environmental and governance responsibility. The firm believes that business success should go hand in hand with social impact, employee wellbeing and ethical practices.
Staff wellbeing is an integral part of BSA LAW’s culture. The firm runs regular mental health and self-care sessions to support employees beyond their day-to-day roles. Topics have included managing daily stress and building emotional resilience, with more initiatives planned to reflect the evolving needs of the team.
The firm is also actively engaged in community outreach. To mark its recent anniversary, BSA LAW partnered with the Al Noor Training Center for People of Determination by purchasing handcrafted gifts made at the center. A visit to the center is scheduled for September to continue this meaningful partnership and support the center’s mission.
Sustainability is part of BSA LAW’s everyday operations. Employees are encouraged to reduce waste through the use of digital documents wherever possible, and are provided with the tools they need to recycle effectively across office spaces. These efforts reflect the firm’s wider commitment to minimising its environmental footprint through simple, actionable steps.
Looking ahead, BSA LAW is focused on strengthening its ESG strategy through structured, long-term initiatives that create positive impact for both its people and the wider community. The firm sees ESG not as a checklist but as a commitment to responsible business and shared progress.
