Dr. Ahmad is BSA LAW’s Senior Partner, based in the firm’s DIFC office in Dubai.

He brings over 24 years of experience working within legal and judicial governmental institutions in Dubai.

Dr. Ahmad Bin Hezeem is the former Director General of the Dubai Courts and offers unparalleled knowledge of the region’s laws and regulations.

His extensive litigation experience spans civil law, criminal law, family and private client matters, and breach of contracts. For nine years, he served at Dubai Police in various law enforcement roles, including assignments at police stations, headquarters, and as an instructor at the Dubai Police Academy.

In 2005, Dr. Ahmad transitioned from teaching to serve as Deputy Director General of the Ruler’s Court at the Executive Office of HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He is highly knowledgeable of the UAE legal system. During his more than eight years as Director General of the Dubai Courts, he managed the daily operations of courts and judicial institutions at both local and federal levels.

Dr. Ahmad has also been a member of several key strategic government bodies, including the Executive Council of Dubai, the Judicial Council of Dubai, the Federal Judicial Council, and the Board of the Dubai Judicial Institution.
