Juha Koponen
Partner Juha Koponen is a dual-qualified (Finland and New York) transactional lawyer who focuses his practice on capital markets, M&A and private equity transactions. He has advised issuers and underwriters on public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, including IPOs, high-yield debt offerings, convertible debt issuances and rights offerings. He has also advised bidders and target companies on tender offers.
Juha has significant experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, especially in the cross-border context. He has also advised on many venture capital investments.
Juha heads the firm’s Capital Markets team and the New York office.
Jyrki Tähtinen
Senior Partner Jyrki Tähtinen advises on public and private M&A and corporate governance matters. He is a leading authority on private equity and fund formation in Finland. Jyrki has served as an administrator and trustee in a number of major corporate restructuring procedures and bankruptcy estates.
Johan Roman
Managing Partner Johan Roman advises clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and has over two decades of experience in the field. He has a distinguished clientele that includes top private equity sponsors, major industrial firms, and leading financial institutions. Johan also offers guidance on matters concerning private equity funds, ownership and equity structures, and the transactional side of mining and renewables projects. He frequently shares his expertise with the Finnish business community and lectures at the University of Helsinki.
Sha Wang
Counsel Sha Wang is a native Chinese speaker and is a member of the PRC Bar Association as well as being an experienced corporate lawyer in Finland. Sha advices clients on M&A, general corporate law related matters, as well as on intellectual property related questions. Being a native Chinese speaker with in-depth understanding and wide experience of cross-cultural cooperation, Sha especially advices the firm’s Chinese clients and international clients with legal matters relating to China.
Sha heads the firm’s China desk.
