Counsel. Andreas Burger focuses his practice on Swiss and European competition law, as well as on administrative and contract law. His work in the field of competition law encompasses the representation of clients in investigations and merger control proceedings, as well as in civil litigation, including follow-on damages actions. In addition, he regularly advises clients on distribution systems, provides guidance on compliance, and conducts internal audits.

After working at a district court in Switzerland in civil and criminal matters from 2002 to 2006, he joined Homburger as an associate in 2006. In 2016, Andreas Burger was appointed as a counsel.

Andreas Burger studied in Zurich and Paris and graduated in law (lic. iur.) from the University of Zurich in 2002. In 2008, he also graduated as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Edinburgh.

Born 1977, father of two children, likes sports (running, skiing, hiking, ice hockey, badminton) and reading.
