Partner. Andri Hess is a member of Homburger’s IP / IT, Litigation, Arbitration, Competition and Regulatory practice teams. Main areas of work include patent and other intellectual property rights litigation and arbitration in a broad range of technical and industrial fields and within international contexts, as well as in negotiating and drafting intellectual property rights related contracts.

Career

Qualified in 1998. Joined Homburger in 1999, became Partner in 2009. Holding teaching assignment from the University of Stockholm (IP arbitration). Lecturer of the training course for the Swiss Patent Bar exam at the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property. Associate judge at the Swiss Federal Patent Court.

Andri Hess is a board member of the Swiss group of AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) and a member of the Communications Committee and Standing Committee on Client Attorney Privilege of AIPPI International. Moreover, he is a member of ASA (Swiss Arbitration Association), GRUR (Deutsche Vereinigung für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht e.V.), INGRES (Institut für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz) as well as of the Zurich and Swiss Bar Associations.
