Jelmer specialises in finance and (financial) restructuring. In his daily practice, he advises and assists national and international clients in the acquisition or provision of finance. In addition, he assists parties in and around insolvency, including under the Court Approval of a Private Composition (Prevention of Insolvency) Act (WHOA). Jelmer has a specific focus on types of non-bank finance like direct lending, crowdfunding, (marketable) debt instruments, leasing, factoring and securitisation. This non-bank finance practice is unique in the market.
