Career
Brian Cunneen joined as a Partner in 2021, when he merged his firm into Whitney Moore. Prior running his own firm for 11 years, Brian was Partner in another leading Irish law firm, O’Flynn Exhams, where he was in charge of its Dublin Office, which he took over in 2009. Brian joined O’Flynn Exhams in 2003 from A&L Goodbody, where he worked for 6 years. Prior to that Brian managed the Galway office of a Dublin firm for 3 years after qualification. Brian established the National Solicitors Alliance in 2015, comprised of 45 small and medium-sized Irish law firms.
Brian manages a broad-based corporate and commercial practice. Brian advises many leading Irish and international companies on mergers & acquisitions, equity investments and complex litigation in the Superior Courts on a wide range of matters.
Brian has extensive experience in high-stakes litigation, alternative dispute resolution, is a qualified Arbitrator and is due to qualify as a CEDR mediator in early 2026.
Brian practices in a number of sectors, including technology, pharmacy & veterinary, biotechnology, construction, food & beverage, manufacturing and renewable energy.
