Position

Philipp Groz is a partner in our Dispute Resolution team. He heads our Intellectual Property team and co-heads our Life Sciences group. He represents clients in litigation before Swiss courts and in international arbitrations in all types of IP, trade secrets, and unfair competition disputes, and in a wide range of contractual and product liability disputes. He also sits as an arbitrator. Philipp frequently assists clients in drafting and negotiating licensing, R&D, manufacturing, supply, distribution, sponsoring, franchising, and other agreements. He also advises on IP aspects of transactions. His practice further includes regulatory and advertising matters.

  • Represented pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in various international arbitrations arising out of licensing and/or distribution agreements
  • Represented medical device manufacturer in patent entitlement dispute before the Swiss Federal Patent Court
