Conor Cunningham graduated from University College Cork (BCL) in 2009 and University College London (LLM) in 2010 and qualified in 2015. He joined McCann FitzGerald LLP in 2012 as a Trainee and is currently a Partner in the Litigation group. Conor has extensive experience handling contentious and complex litigation, with a strong understanding of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board’s role and functions within the personal injuries landscape. He has acted for numerous public bodies and regularly advises State service providers on personal injury claims, contractual and insurance issues, related disputes, and statutory or health and safety investigations.

He also represents insurers in defending tort, public liability, employer liability, product liability, and health and safety claims. Conor advises companies responding to product recalls and other safety‑related crises, and he has significant experience guiding clients through serious incidents, subsequent investigations, and follow‑on civil litigation.
