Position

Philip S. Thorsen has more than 25 years of experience regarding company law, M&A, contracts, procurement law, competition law and tort law.

Philip also assists in civil litigation and arbitration, where he has extensive experience from the Danish courts, including the Supreme Court, the Greenland High Court, the International Chamber of Commerce, The Danish Arbitration Institute in addition to ad hoc arbitration tribunals in Denmark and abroad, the Competition Council, the Competition Appeals Tribunal, Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and The Tribunal for Auditors.

Philip is a board member of several companies, foundations and associations. He is a permanent arbitrator in International Court of Arbitration (IMAC) at the Polish Chamber of Maritime Commerce and is a former chairman of the Polish Danish Business Forum. Philip S. Thorsen is recommended by the French Embassy in Denmark, and is in Legal 500 recommended in relation to Dispute Resolution and EU & Competition.

Philip has published a number of articles and co-authored several publications mainly on investments in Central and Eastern Europe and on international arbitration clauses.
