Lia’s focus is on trademark law representing clients in the cosmetics, electronics, textiles, fashion, design and automotive industries. She is responsible for taking legal action and defence of trademarks before the Italian Trademark Offices (UIBM) and the European (EUIPO) and supervises the firm’s Anti-Piracy Group, coordinating contacts with the Customs Agency regarding the Anti-Counterfeiting Monitoring activities. She also leads the team of Data Protection and Privacy Law specialists and daily assists the Firm’s clients in their adequate compliance with the regulation on the protection of personal data. Lia has been with the firm since 1996.
