Steffen advises clients in all matters of collective and individual employment law. He provides comprehensive advice on company restructurings (transfers of business, staff adaptations, plant closures, plant relocations, establishment of qualification companies), particularly in the context of restructurings and insolvencies, and advises employers on and represents them in disputes with employees, works and staff councils and labour unions. His practice also includes advising on employment law issues in connection with transactions.

Steffen studied at the University of Tübingen. He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2009. Steffen is a certified labour law attorney. He is a member of the German Bar Association’s Labour Law Working Group.
