Gleiss Lutz

Stefan specialises in complex litigation, domestic and international arbitration, and in alternative dispute resolution. His main areas of expertise are M&A and Private Equity, Finance, Joint Ventures, Corporate disputes, follow-on cartel litigation, and complex commercial contracts. Stefan has represented clients in state court litigation throughout Germany as well as in domestic and international arbitration proceedings under the rules of all major arbitral institutions. In addition, he is a sought-after arbitrator.

Stefan studied law at Goethe University Frankfurt (PhD in law 1995) and the University of Georgia School of Law (LL.M. 1994). After working for two global law firms, Stefan joined Gleiss Lutz as a partner in 2004. Stefan is a member of the German Arbitration Institute, the German-American Lawyer´s Association, and various other professional organizations.
