Marco advises Italian and international clients on Corporate - M&A, capital markets and compliance matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, capital increases, budget and accounting regulations, public purchase bidding and public exchange offerings, disclosure obligations of listed companies, commercial contracts and other extraordinary transactions of regulated entities.
His experience spans various industries including banks, insurance and other regulated entities.

Marco Maugeri joined the Firm in 2000 and became a Partner in 2007. Since 2024 Co-Head of the "Capital Markets - Public-M&A" Practice Area and Head of the "Public M&A" Practice Area.

Full Professor of Corporate Law and European Capital Markets Law at Roma Tre Law School. From 2014 to 2024, he has been Full Professor of Commercial Law at the European University of Rome, where he was Extraordinary Professor of Commercial Law from 2010 to 2013. At the Faculty of Law, University of Foggia, Marco was Researcher in Commercial Law from 2005 to 2006 and Associate Professor of Commercial Law from 2006 to 2010.
