Leon joined BarentsKrans in January 2025. With years of experience in notarial real estate, he is a valued adviser on property development, the purchase and sale of real estate, mergers and acquisitions, urban redevelopment, social housing and related issues.

Leon specialises in complex real estate transactions, such as structured finance transactions, sale-and-leaseback contracts, controlled auctions and distressed asset transactions.

He is an authority in the field of social housing and advises housing associations on topics such as compliance, governance, cooperation with external parties and local authorities, and real estate issues.

Leon is valued for his strong analytical skills, which enables him to understand complex matters quickly and to anticipate on possible developments. On top of this, he has an unerring sense of clients’ commercial interests.
