2024年7月12日、欧州委員会はX社（旧Twitter社。以下「X」とする。）に対しダークパターン、広告の透明性、研究者のデータアクセスに関して、Digital Service Act（デジタルサービス法。以下「DSA」という。）に違反しているとする暫定見解を示した（以下「本件暫定見解」という。） 1。本件暫定見解は、国内事業者にも域外適用の可能性のあるDSAについての具体的な運用情報を得られること、近年問題意識が高まっているダークパターン規制で先行するEUの具体的な事例についての見解を明らかにするため、国内事業者にも参考になる情報を含むことから、その詳細を紹介する。
