  • Acted for ASM Technology Singapore Pte Ltd in relation to infringement claims relating to auto-molding machines used to package semi-conductor chips. Matter involves probably the largest patent infringement quantum claim ever in Singapore, USD103 million.
  • Acted for FUJIFILM group of companies in a rare case against a parallel importer – as Singapore’s IP laws are regarded to be permissive in relation to the exploitation of parallel imports. First known case on management information rights under the Copyright Act.
  • Advises SEMBCORP Industries on the management of its global TM portfolios consisting of over 10 different trade marks, in approximately 20 countries worldwide.

Ravindran Associates

Ravindran Associates has a well established IP practice, particularly noted for dispute resolution and contentious IP, along with enforcement and corporate/commercial matters.
