Civitas Law’s social housing group has considerable combined experience and ‘has been very proactive’ in relation to changes in Wales brought about by the Renting Homes Act, with Owain Rhys James and Lucy King in particular advising and training social landlords in preparation for these changes. King also regularly represents tenants, local authorities, and social landlords in cases involving anti-social behaviour, health issues, and homelessness. Dominic Evans frequently acts for social landlords in the South Wales area in contested social housing litigation and is especially well regarded for his housing disrepair expertise.
