The BLM professional negligence team acts for professionals from all disciplines, and specialises in professional indemnity legislation. Another key area of work is claims relating to fraud, particularly for solicitors; experience ranges from seller fraud cases to phishing and email modification. Jason Nash leads the practice, and has represented a wide range of professionals, including solicitors, accountants, surveyors and construction professionals.  Jennie Bebbington specialises in professional indemnity claims, primarily against solicitors, and also represents insurers in subrogated claims against banks.

The professional negligence department at DWF covers claims involving all the ‘traditional' professions, and has recently advised on high-value claims on architects’ and contractors’ professional indemnity insurance policies.
