Acted for the Appellant in an Employment Appeal Tribunal case against a judgment by the Employment Tribunal which found that the Claimant had been unfairly dismissed and subjected to harassment related to sex by reason of having been called “bald”.
Acted for a director and shareholder for unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal, which succeeded at fully contested hearing in which the other director was found to have acted dishonestly and conducted a sham process of dismissal.
Acting for a leading online retailer in defending an Employment Tribunal claim for discrimination on grounds of an employee’s gender reassignment. The employee, who identifies as a woman, is the biological father of a child and is claiming they were refused the right to take maternity leave and forced out of the business.
