Mr. Liu's white-collar practice spans federal and state criminal and regulatory matters. He has represented senior executives, boards of directors, and corporate entities in government investigations, grand jury proceedings, and at trial, including matters involving financial crimes, public corruption, healthcare fraud, and tax offenses. He has substantial experience conducting internal investigations and managing parallel civil and regulatory proceedings before the Department of Justice, United States Attorney's Offices, offices of Inspector General, and other federal and state enforcement agencies.

His civil practice includes contractual and business disputes before state and federal courts and government agencies, and he has represented Fortune 500 companies across multiple jurisdictions.

Mr. Liu earned his J.D. from Georgetown Law and his B.A. from Boston College. He previously clerked for the Honorable Judith Bartnoff of the District of Columbia Superior Court and is admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia, New York, and several federal courts.

Mr. Liu serves on the board of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of the Greater Washington, D.C. Area, is a member of the D.C. Bar Judicial Evaluation Committee, and is a board member of the William B. Bryant Inn of Court. He is also an Adjunct Professor at George Mason Antonin Scalia Law School.
