Located in New York, both James Tandler and Angelo Ciavarella spearhead the practice. Tandler specializes in corporate transactional tax advice as well as in the formation and operation of partnerships and private investment vehicles. Ciavarella is also well-regarded for his experience in international corporate and partnership transactions. In Houston, Ron Scharnberg focuses on federal tax planning and transactional structuring mandates on behalf of both publicly traded and privately held companies. Robert Phillpott departed the firm in March 2025. David Holmberg and Anthony Boggs both joined the team in January 2025.
