The real estate team at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP regularly advises clients on a full array of complex issues throughout the real estate industry. The practice is engaged by a range of clients, from developers and lenders to investment banks, REITs, private equity funds, and major corporations. The breadth of expertise across the practice ensures the team is able to advise clients on matters including lending transactions, joint ventures, leasing deals, and real estate workouts and restructurings. The group also engages with asset classes such as data centers, mixed-use developments, office buildings, hospitality properties, and retail assets. The team is led by the head of global real estate Neil Rock, based in New York, with regional heads across the country. Marco Caffuzzi heads up the New York group, with Nancy Olson of the Chicago office leading the Illinois team, and Peter Mair in Los Angeles heading up the California practice.
