Representing Sompo Holdings and its affiliates in a Chicago federal court lawsuit seeking the return of Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers painting and $1.5 billion in damages, with a federal judge dismissing the case due to lack of jurisdiction.
Representing Sotheby’s in a legal dispute over the sale of Picasso’s Le Peintre, where a buyer defaulted on payment and a subsequent purported purchaser fraudulently used the painting as loan collateral.
