Jeffrey Cohen has spent more than 30 years serving as a trusted advisor to his clients. He counsels clients in complex litigation disputes and provides proactive guidance to businesses to address potential issues even before they reach litigation. He is especially skilled in anticipating, addressing, and resolving the day-to-day challenges and pragmatic decisions business owners and executives face in today’s complex business landscape. Jeff works closely with them to ensure their partnerships are intact as well as identify potential risks and pitfalls that may occur during the business life cycle.

He manages a variety matters related to sports law issues, antitrust disputes, commercial contracts, shareholder and partnership agreements, trademarks, copyrights, patents (including Hatch-Waxman), insurance coverage, franchise disputes, and commercial construction.

Prior to joining Flaster Greenberg, Jeff served as in-house counsel for two national insurance companies and worked at an AmLaw 100 firm. This previous experience strengthened his capabilities in arbitrations, bench and jury trials, contract and settlement negotiations, and all aspects of discovery in state, federal, and appellate courts.

Jeff has also been active in the formulation of federal and state policy as well as legislative initiatives in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC.

A frequent lecturer and author, Jeff speaks and writes on a multitude of topics in the commercial litigation field. He also co-hosts The Heart of Sports radio show on 860 WWDB and 97.5 HD2 Philadelphia every Friday from 4-5 PM ET (and replay podcasts) where he discusses legal issues in professional and amateur sports.
