Tony Shaw is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group and co-leader of the CMBS and creditors’ rights team. He primarily represents banks and private lenders.

Tony represents financial institutions, including banks and private equity funds, in a broad range of workouts, litigation, trials, and arbitrations across the country.

With extensive experience in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, Tony has litigated numerous cases to verdict, successfully handling bench and jury trials in courts nationwide. His recent work includes representing commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) special servicers and financial institutions in complex bankruptcy matters in states such as Arkansas, Florida, New York, and Texas.

Recently, Tony represented a foreign telecom company to provide guidance in handling a billion-dollar-plus fine issued by a Middle Eastern government, as well as work out a 10-figure arbitration award issued by the International Court of Arbitration in Paris.
