Career
Renee R. Tischler is an experienced multi-state and international commercial litigator and a member of the litigation practice at Aballí Milne Kalil, P.A. (AMK) in Miami, Florida. She is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and has appeared pro hac vice in several jurisdictions, including Illinois, South Dakota, California, and Louisiana. She focuses on complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the United States, as well as arbitration proceedings domestically and internationally, with a particular emphasis on multi-jurisdictional and cross-border disputes.
Renee’s practice focuses on domestic and international fraud, as well as RICO and civil theft claims, domestic and international business litigation, trust litigation, property disputes (including international marital property rights), maritime disputes, Mareva injunctions and pre-judgment asset freezes, and 28 USC § 1782 applications (for obtaining evidence for use abroad).
Renee has extensive experience in managing complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, coordinating with counsel across multiple jurisdictions, overseeing parallel proceedings in different courts and tribunals, and advising clients on sophisticated domestic and international matters that require both legal precision and creative thinking.
Renee is the Portfolio Manager for Marketing and Communication of the International Fraud Group (IFG) and is a long-time active member. The IFG is a global network of pre-eminent independent law firms focused on tracing, freezing, seizing, and recovering stolen assets across borders. It is comprised of 56 member firms across more than 60 jurisdictions.
