Represented NCTA – The Internet & Television Association in securing vacatur of the FTC’s “click-to-cancel” rule and several other FCC media ownership rules.
Represented CTIA – The Wireless Association in successfully defeating the FCC’s renewed attempt to impose common-carrier regulations on broadband Internet access through its “net neutrality” rule.
Acted for the National Association of Broadcasters and Nexstar Media Group in the Eighth Circuit, which vacated a Federal Communications Commission rule first adopted in 1999 that prohibited broadcasters from owning more than one top-four rated television station in any geographical market.
