Large-scale transport and social infrastructure projects are a cornerstone feature of O'Melveny’s project finance practice, with the team particularly active on complex, high-value PPP transactions. The infrastructure group is led from Los Angeles by Elizabeth Dubeck, Eric Richards, and Denise Raytis. Dubeck is seen representing the State of Hawaii in the PPP-driven redevelopment of Aloha Stadium, the state’s principal sports and entertainment venue, which includes the construction of a new stadium and the development of approximately 2.5 million square feet of surrounding real estate. Transportation mandates are a key focus for Richards, whose experience covers airports, seaports, rail, and surface transport projects. Raytis contributes expertise in US securities law, securitizations, and M&A matters. Energy work is overseen by Los Angeles-based Jeff Hoffner, who advises companies engaged in the acquisition, development, construction, and financing of energy assets, with a particular emphasis on renewable projects in the US and internationally.
