Spearheading the team are Shahzeb Lari, who focuses on securities and shareholder litigation under federal securities law and Delaware law, and Marc Weinstein, who chairs the White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group. Work highlights

Leads the sprawling US litigation to recover more than $2 billion on behalf of the Danish Customs and Tax Administration, or Skatteforvaltningen (SKAT). Recent results include obtaining a $500 million jury verdict in February 2025, and a $165 million bench trial judgment in September 2025, both in the Southern District of New York. We have also obtained sizeable settlements, and other cases remain pending.
Defending investment adviser Cornerstone and its principals in SEC enforcement action alleging misrepresentations in private fund disclosures pending in the Southern District of California.
