The team is led from Palm Beach Gardens by Theodore Leopold and Leslie Kroeger. Leopold has developed a strong reputation for handling complex environmental toxic tort matters. He notably acted as co-lead class counsel in the Flint water crisis litigation, which resulted in final approval of an $8m settlement against Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam. Kroeger leads the firm in several high-profile mass torts involving guns, catastrophic wildfires, and flooding. She continues to represent homeowners of more than 300 properties who suffered catastrophic property damage after the failure of the Edenville Dam. Based in Washington DC, Agnieszka Fryszman chairs the firm’s Human Rights practice, and recently helped secure $38.3m in damages for the deaths of eight victims in the Chiquita Brands International Inc. litigation. Andrew Friedman is active in the team’s Washington DC office.
