She is representing L’Oréal in a product liability dispute with plaintiffs alleging that hair relaxer products have caused cancers, achieving an early victory with the court dismissing the French parent company of L’Oréal from the ongoing case, narrowing the scope of the liability. Having been brought on as replacement trial counsel, she is defending Duke Energy in an antitrust dispute in North Carolina federal court, with the plaintiff NTE Energy alleging that Duke has a monopoly in the energy industry in the south east. Additionally, she has also been retained by Duke to advise on a wage-fixing class action suit filed by workers in nuclear power plants across the country, who alleged that 26 nuclear plant operators of illegally shared wage information to suppress pay.
