Peter Bicks is based in Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe‘s New York office and brings strong experience in commercial disputes and intellectual property matters, regularly advising major clients in the medical and agriculture space. He is currently advising Corteva Agriscience in a patent case brought against Inari, alleging that they stole and exported Corteva’s patented seeds, modified them, and are attempting to file a new patent for them back in the U.S. Furthermore, he is representing Corteva in a licensing dispute with Bayer involving the use of soybean products. He is also defending the Louis Dreyfus Company against over 200 personal injury and wrongful death cases related to exposure to ethylene oxide used in the sterilization of medical tools.
