Arnold & Porter has a highly experienced group representing both corporates and individuals in internal and government-facing investigations, enforcement proceedings, white collar criminal trials, and appeals. The practice is overseen by Marcus Asner in New York, who specializes in criminal and related civil litigation and investigations, and Deborah Curtis in Washington DC, who focuses on matters relating to national security, white-collar defense, litigation, and international investigations. Also in DC, John Nassikas, who is experienced in cross-border cases, and anti-corruption specialist Soo-Mi Rhee, are key practitioners, as is white-collar specialist Christian Sheehan, while Michael Kim Krouse practices out of New York, and is skilled in matters relating to financial fraud, public corruption, national security, and crisis management. The team also includes Paul Fishman in Newark, who has unique capabilities in crisis management and congressional investigations. Amy Jeffress departed the team in February 2025.
