Eric D. Madden

Eric D. Madden, a partner in the Dallas office of Reid Collins & Tsai LLP, specializes in complex business and insolvency-related litigation. He represents a diverse range of clients, including liquidating trustees, receivers, creditor and bondholder committees, and defrauded investors. Madden handles major cases involving breaches of fiduciary duty, professional and audit malpractice, fraudulent transfers, and intricate contract disputes. He notably served as lead counsel for the Insys Liquidation Trust, securing a $175m judgment against its founder and another $175m settlement with the company’s outside directors, holding them accountable for misconduct contributing to the opioid crisis. Additionally, Madden was recently retained as special litigation counsel for the Enviva Litigation Trust, pursuing $350m in claims against Enviva Inc.’s former officers following the company’s bankruptcy.
