Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP’s Antitrust & Competition practice is co-led by Rachel Brass in San Francisco and Cynthia Richman and Kristen C. Limarzi in Washington DC. Under this leadership, the team handles the full breadth of criminal and civil antitrust matters. Limarzi manages corporate and individual enforcement matters in DC, while Brass and Richman provide strategic oversight of litigation, class actions, and cross-border enforcement. Key DC-based partners include Jeremy Robison, who focuses on global cartel investigations, leniency applications, and complex civil and criminal enforcement matters; and Scott Hammond and Stephen Weissman, who lead criminal investigations and multijurisdictional cartel defenses. The practice represents clients in civil and criminal DOJ investigations, including antitrust inquiries into algorithmic pricing, bid-rigging, and HSR-related compliance. Recent matters include defending RealPage in the first US cases involving algorithmic pricing, securing dismissal of a California antitrust suit against UBS, and representing multinational clients in multijurisdictional cartel investigations.
