Work highlights

Through detailed analysis of available location data, the team was able to establish the geographic reach of the allegations and quantify the level of exposure among UK- and Ireland-based users, resulting in a clear picture assessing the spread of defamatory allegations.
By analysing more than nine thousand trade records across over 65 jurisdictions, the team identified multiple indicators of IP and trademark infringement, including evidence of a key co-defendant importing a previously identified infringing product directly into the jurisdiction of interest, as well as several consignments of similarly named products linked to another co-defendant between relevant jurisdictions.
Over the course of seven months, Digitalis investigated the campaign across the internet and several social media platforms, mapping the network of coordinated accounts behind it, tracking and reporting on hostile content and evidencing the actions of participating accounts.
