The team at DLA Piper continues to assist an extensive list of Thai and international insurers and brokers, as well as reinsurers, in both contentious and non-contentious insurance matters. Robert Tang spearheads the group and is experienced representing clients in high-value arbitrations and the full range of complex disputes, with a particular specialism in insurance claims as well as energy and construction disputes. Thananan Sangnuan's specialism is in transactional and regulatory cases, including advising insurance companies in M&A, debt restructuring and joint venture contexts, and advising on financial and insurance-related regulation. Pattarapon Lerdpipat harnesses expertise in insurance, fintech and digital assets-related cases. Peter Shelford departed the group in May 2024.
