With solid transactional, litigation, and advisory capabilities, the team at Cuatrecasas is regularly sought out by clients from the automotive, pharmaceutical, and retail sectors, among others. The group is co-led by Albert Agustinoy and Álvaro Bourkaib; Bourkaib stands out for his expertise in trade mark litigation and the protection and transfer of intangible assets. The department also benefits from the aptitude of Alejandro Negro who regularly handles infringement proceedings, contractual issues, and transactions. Other active practitioners in the group include Jean-Yves Teindas, a name to note for disputes over IP rights,  and Pablo Ramírez, who was promoted to partner in April 2024. Jorge Llevat departed from the firm in December 2023.
