Drawing on the firm’s wider international presence, Clifford Chance's dispute resolution practice, praised by clients for its ‘strong technical skills’, has extensive experience advising household names from the financial services, sport, and technology sectors on commercial and investment arbitrations, commercial litigation, and regulatory investigations. At the helm of the department is Fernando Irurzun, who brings a wealth of expertise in commercial litigation from his former position as Deputy Director-General for Litigation Affairs. He is supported by Amaia Rivas, who joined from Pinsent Masons LLP in June 2025 and excels in international arbitration. The group’s commercial litigation and regulatory investigations capabilities have been further bolstered by the arrival of María Guinot from Deloitte Abogados in June 2025. Other key practitioners include Fernando Giménez-Alvear, Eduardo Hernández, and Laura del Campo. Ignacio Diaz is no longer at the firm.
