Work highlights

Advised POSCO group companies in relation to the hijacking of MV Ruen by Somali pirates and hijacks in the Red Sea.

Advised the shipowner/P&I Club of Tan Binh 127 in Korean limitation proceedings, successfully limiting liability and protecting against foreign claims following the vessel’s sinking near Myanmar.

Acted as counsel for HMM Co., Ltd in relation to its ship-financing deals, involving ship-financing of nine 9,000 TEU methanol powered ships as well as its second-hand seven dry-bulk ships and five 5,000 TEU container vessels and container re-financing.
