Advising AECI Mining Limited following the grounding and loss of the MV "Ultra Galaxy", off South Africa's West Coast on 9 July 2024, with 12,000 tons of ammonium nitrate on board.
Advising Traxtion Sheltam, as the selected preferred bidder, on the first award and allocation of slots on the South African rail network, the first project of this nature launched by the Dept of Transport and Transnet, giving effect to private 3rd party access to the rail network, including to negotiate the key legal contracts, namely the rail access agreement and interphase agreement
