Work highlights

Acted for Mr Zhang Zhencheng, Aqua Wealth and Bounty Way in an emergency arbitration under the HKIAC earlier in 2025 this year, concerning the voting rights attached to the majority unit holder of a listed business trust in Singapore.
Acted as instructed counsel for client against Ace Exim Pte Ltd in an application to set aside a final SCMA Award before the Singapore High Court. While the award was not set aside, the Court commented that the arbitrator sailed close to the wind and issued a judgment that has since become landmark on setting aside jurisprudence in Singapore.
Acted for an Indian steel plant manufacturer in a successful SIAC arbitration against the opposing party, securing a final award of over USD 4 million plus full costs in a complex cross-border dispute involving novel legal issues on the assessment of damages and leading Indian Senior Advocates as tribunal and counsel.
