Work highlights

Acted as exclusive Polish counsel to Ørsted (supporting Hengeler Mueller as international lead counsel) in the finalisation of the transactional stage of Baltica 2 offshore wind project of a total capacity of approx. 1.5 GW, in partnership with PGE, being a strategic project for the entire Polish energy sector.
Advised Axpo Polska on the development of a new service in relation to optimisation of BESS assets and negotiated pioneer BESS-optimisation service contracts covering the BESS assets with an installed capacity exceeding 200 MW, including the 50 MW Budzyń BESS project developed by EDPR.
Advised ResInvest in the acquisition of Polish CEZ companies operating conventional assets, including two hard coal-fired power plants, Skawina (490 MW) and Chorzów (204 MW electrical, 500 MW thermal), with the aim of greening the conventional assets.
