Costa, Olivares & Palomino Abogados has a well-developed niche practice handling all real estate aspects related to the development of infrastructure projects across the energy, mining, hydrocarbons and telecoms sectors, covering rights identification and environmental clean up, easements, permitting and licences. More broadly, the practice also has considerable experience in the design and development of real estate projects for shopping centres, condominiums, offices and residential properties. The practice is led by a trio of partners: Gonzalo Costa V, who in addition to his corporate and contractual experience, can draw on eight years’ experience at environmental agency OEFA, notably as a lawyer in the environmental supervision directorate for infrastructure and services; Edwin Palomino, who is specialised in the legal physical sanitation of urban and rural properties, along with community relations matters concerning infrastructure projects, and also has corporate and regulatory advisory experience as regards mining and energy companies. Jorge Olivares V, for his part, specialises in corporate and administrative law, public procurement, tax, real estate and civil and contractual law.
